VCU will be returning to in-person classes beginning Thursday, March 4. Students currently living off-campus that wish to apply for on-campus housing for the remainder of the spring term.
How to Return
Students wishing to return to campus must complete the Request to Return to Campus Form by Friday, March 9. In the form, students will be asked to choose their top three housing preferences and agree to the terms of the 2020-2021 Housing Contract. Details on the specific hall, including what population can live in each hall, can be found on the Residential Life and Housing website's Halls page.
Housing Bill
Residents will receive a prorated bill for their stay. Please visit our Partial Spring Billing Rate Sheet for more information.
Move-in Requirements
To live in on-campus housing, students must complete the following requirements:
- Take a provided at-home COVID-19 test and receive negative results. To learn more about the test please visit the Spring Testing page
- Complete the Responsible Together Course in Blackboard
- Complete daily health checks by visiting vcu.edu after administering the at-home COVID-19 test
Once assigned to on-campus housing, students will receive instructions on how to complete the requirements listed above. Move-in instructions will be sent to students once they have completed all their move-in requirements.
